Rage Carnival Demo
This project was made in two weeks for an internal game jam at my college. It features 2 different minigames; Knocking down cans and Pinning the tail on the donkey. Two players must go head to head trying to rig the games or beat them!
Project Breakdown
2 Player Rage Game meets Mario Party.
"Rage Carnival" is a casual party game to play with friends and family inspired by classic rage games. Go head-to-head in a collection of minigames that are a good mix of frustrating and fun, you just better hope there are no sore losers in the room! The current build consists of 2 minigames and 4 unique characters! I designed and implemented all of the game mechanics as well as implementing the characters and levels!
Features

The character select screen features 4 custom characters who each have their own unique abilities.
The "Knock Down the Cans" game mode features the contestants trying to shake cans off of a table while the villains use a glue gun to try and stop them.

The "Pin the Tail on the Donkey" game mode features the contestants trying to pin the tail on the red "X" while the villains invert their controls.

The "Slam Attack" can be used to gain height and momentum, as well as being used to defeat enemies
The game also has unique abilities for each character in each game mode, such as slowing time or increasing rate of fire.

Skills
Project Management
As part of this project I was tasked with a lot of duties. I was personally responsible for all of the programming, as well as all of the 3D models. This project taught me a lot about how to prioritise tasks and how to organise a project effectively to meet a strict deadline.
Team Work
During this project I was part of a team of two people. I learnt a lot about collaboration and working effectively in a team, as well as how to distribute a workload to ensure that a project can meet its needed deadline. I also learnt a lot about scheduling as this project was completed for a strict deadline
Programming
For this project I was the lead programmer. I was in charge of programming gameplay, AI as well as any other assets that needed code. I also made the multiplayer and character switching functionality of the demo.
